Personally I didn’t really connect with these two, but that’s ok,this was just one of those cases where you can honestly say,”It’s not you, it’s me.” Things are unsettled now, but (eventually) I imagine it'll all work out. I like these kraken and the humans who complete them. Actually joining with her? Well, that would be the second step. Proving that he can provide for Rhea and her daughter is his first step into fully joining the kraken. He has no real purpose and he knows too much for the kraken to let him go. On Randall's side, he's sort of drifting now that he's no longer a hunter. Like, I said, there's dissension in the ranks and Rhea choosing Randall doesn't help that tension in the least. She has no idea how to court a human male since female kraken don't court and, as one of the rare females of her kind, the fact that she's choosing a human over a kraken isn't looked upon well by some. Randall's sudden introduction to their group and seeing how both Jax and Arkon have found the thing she didn't know she wanted leaves Rhea in an odd situation. Like Jax and Arkon, Rhea has been quietly accepting her loneliness. On the other hand, we also got to see more of the tension dividing the kraken clan and, hoo-boy, I don't think that's going to end well.īut let's talk about Rhea and Randall. This story lets us see the female kraken's side of things when it comes to getting involved in a relationship with a human.

To have my name on the list of champions is incredible.” “It’s incredibly gratifying to feel that connection with the race and the community and be in that history book. Then winning, she added, “was a huge relief because I always felt it was something I could do. “I went to Boston and I thought, not my year,” Linden says. That experience almost forced her to stop running, but she kept at it and her diligence paid off with the 2018 win. She tells stories we’ve never heard before in the book, especially the health scare she had with a diagnosis of hypothyroidism after the 2017 Boston Marathon. It’s about the lessons she learned from her parents and coaches and herself during hard times over the years that helped her seize the opportunity that April day five years ago. But the book is about much more than that. In her new memoir “ Choosing To Run,” she offers a mile-by-mile account of her historic victory. She kept coming back to Boston and won the race in 2018, in what was basically a monsoon. To see an American woman contending in the final miles when none had won the race since 1985 was newsworthy. I must admit Des Linden (then-Des Davila) wasn’t on my radar when she ran the Boston Marathon for the first time in 2007, but she sure was after finishing second by just two seconds four years later in 2011. See below, do these images match the man appearing in the film? It is also odd that his cameo would be in that remote scene, presumably shot on a day when most of the main cast were not around and in the middle of the European countryside somewhere? However! There are publicity stills of Fleming on location during the filming of From Russia with Love wearing a white top(!) in front of and by the Orient Express train. But no, they have not said anything which suggests that it is probably not true. Ian Fleming was 6ft tall and the man in the film appears to be shorter than this but it is very hard to judge as he not standing close enough to another something we are sure of the height of to gain a proper perspective.Īlso consider the fact the film-makers have never disclosed this (Never say Never!) and that is hard to believe or understand why? The film-makers know that fans would love to know if it were true and surely it would help sales of the film on DVD and Blu-Ray. Both men have large ears and the nose and cheeks ‘seem’ to be similar. However, the more you compare the man in the film with other photos of Ian Fleming, you realise you cannot rule it out. It is not clear to see from the photo, but have a closer look for yourself in the video below:Īt first glance, the man on the side of the rail tracks does not appear to be Ian Fleming and the shadow on his face from his cap makes him seem like a man with a darker-skinned ethnicity.
